For your Jetboil stoves use Jetpower, the gas canister is a high performance propane isobutane mixture, which is ideal for using in cold weather. It delivers maximum efficiency and minimum consumption.
The Jetpower gas canister is EN417 approved and therefore will fit any gas lantern or stove which features a standard screw thread.

Jetpower is not suitable and cannot be used with Campingaz products which use the Easy Clic Plus system.

Is this a better gas than a Coleman c500 ? And will it fit the gas stove I have which uses a Coleman c500 canister ? Thanks Baz
Hello, thank you for your question, So the first thing to consider is what time of year you are using the gas on your stove. Both the Coleman C500 and the Jetpower Gas canister are a propane mix gas, which performs better at lower temperatures. The Jetpower gas is an Isobutane/Propane mix which is considered a four-season gas, which means you can use it in the winter months. The Coleman c500 Performance gas is a Butane/Propane mix but does not have the ISObutane. The Isobutane has a higher vapor pressure which translates to a better performance, and therefore performs better at lower temperatures than the Coleman c500. If you are using your stove in the summer months then the Coleman c500 gas canister will be fine, however at lower temperatures it may not perform as well, and you may want to consider the Jetpower gas, it has a standard screw thread fitting EN417, so the same as a Coleman C500, the only downside is that ISObutane costs more! Another tip if you want your gas canister to perform at a lower temperature try to insulate the canister before use, either in a coat or sleeping bag. Hope that helps, Kind regards Clare
