The Troposphere Jacket is a padded waterproof hiking jacket from Jack Wolfskin. It is made from a highly breathable fabric and is also windproof and very waterproof. The fabric is very soft to the touch inside and out. The jacket is very warm and padded like a down jacket, it therefore comes with pit zips which can be zipped opened so that you can cool down.

Classic, simple and highly functional, the TROPOSPHERE is a high-end, insulated hard-shell jacket with a stretchy outer fabric for improved mobility. The TEXAPORE PRO fabric also makes the jacket very windproof and waterproof, and highly breathable. The PRIMALOFT BLACK RISE fill will keep you warm when the temperature drops. It consists of moisture resistant, recycled synthetic fibre. The jacket is equipped with three external pockets and an inner pocket.

A synthetic alternative to down: Ultra-fine, naturally water-repellent fibres, made mainly from polyester, regulate temperature and guarantee comfort and well-being.

The thin, soft PrimaLoft® fibres create a particularly durable synthetic-fibre filling which withstands many washes and the stresses endured from a wide range of activities.

Since the fibres are significantly finer than other synthetic insulation materials, they can store more air, as well as being able to be compressed smaller. For this reason, the down-like padding is mainly used to insulate jackets.

The TEXAPORE PRO material boasts reliable weather protection for challenging outdoor activities performed in difficult conditions and with high performance demands.

Just like the basic TEXAPORE CORE fabric, it provides guaranteed waterproofing, windproofing and breathability. Furthermore, this high-performance weather protection is even more durable, it is twice as breathable and offers even more effective protection from the rain.
